Terms of use

Last updated:

Not a medical device. Not an emergency service. Tammeni is a reminder and family check-in app. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and it does not give medical advice. In an emergency, call 999 or your local emergency number.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Tammeni app or this website. By using Tammeni, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Tammeni. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

2. Who can use Tammeni

Tammeni is for adults aged 18 and over.

3. What Tammeni is, and isn’t

4. Phones can fail

Reminders and alerts depend on your phone, its settings and battery, the internet, and services such as Google’s. A reminder or alert can be late, or not arrive at all, for example when a phone is off, out of battery, offline, or its battery settings stop the app. The setup checklist in the app helps reminders ring reliably, but please don’t rely on Tammeni alone for anything critical.

5. Your account and your circle

6. Plans and payments

7. The AI chat (when available)

Replies come from an AI and can be wrong, so check anything important. The AI can only suggest an action, such as setting a reminder or calling someone, and you confirm each one. Use the report button to tell us about a bad reply. The AI chat is not medical advice.

8. Changes to Tammeni

We may improve or change features over time. No change we make will ever stop a reminder that is already on your phone from ringing. If we ever close Tammeni, we’ll tell you in the app in advance.

9. Our responsibility

We work hard to make Tammeni reliable, but it is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by a missed or late reminder or alert, or by things outside our control. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

10. Ending

You can stop using Tammeni and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. For important changes, we’ll also tell you in the app before they take effect.
